On March 4, 2018, at approximately 10:52 AM, the Sheboygan Police Department responded to 2408 Park Place, in Sheboygan, to assist EMS on a report of a drug overdose. Responding officers found a 26-year-old female resident performing CPR on a 28-year-old male victim from Green Bay. The victim was transported to Sheboygan Memorial Hospital and subsequently to Aurora Medical Center, in Grafton where he received treatment until March 6th when he was pronounced dead. Investigating officers located drug paraphernalia along with prescription medication and suspected heroin in the female’s residence.
Follow up investigation revealed that the 26-year-old female had purchased heroin from a 38 year- old female residing in Franklin, Wisconsin, located in the Town of Herman, and delivered the suspected heroin to the victim. The Sheboygan County MEG Unit and Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant at the Franklin address, where the suspected dealer was located and arrested. Investigating officers located suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and prescription medication in the residence. A 32-year-old male Sheboygan resident was also present and arrested at the residence. The suspect’s children, ages 12 and 14, were placed with family members by Sheboygan County Health and Human Services.
Both the 26-year-old and 38-year-old females were placed in the Sheboygan County Detention Center. Sheboygan Police referred charges of delivery of heroin and recklessly endangering safety to the Sheboygan County District Attorney’s Office for both. The 32-year-old male subject was released from custody charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. The case remains under investigation.
