Cops and Bobbers

Due to overwhelming demand, registration for the 2022 event is now closed. We will be in contact with all applicants soon. If you missed signing up for this year’s event, please be on the lookout for the 2023 event next summer.

Cops and Bobbers is a community event meant to build relationships between the Sheboygan Police Department and the children of the City of Sheboygan. Officers and children will enjoy an afternoon of fishing together. This event is meant for children between the ages of 7 and 13 years of age but parents are encouraged to stay and participate in the event. No fishing experience required. Volunteers and Officers will be standing by during the event to lend a helping hand.

Anyone over the age of 16 is required to possess a valid Wisconsin fishing license to participate. You are welcome to bring your own rod and reel but fishing gear will be provided for anyone who does not have any.  Please, no fly fishing rods due to safety.

Snacks and drinks will be on site, but a packed lunch is suggested. Children who sign up will receive a Cops and Bobbers T-Shirt.
