Alarms

General Information

All alarm users, including local installations, shall be required to have an alarm user’s permit.  Any alarm system user who operates an alarm system without first obtaining a user’s permit as required by the City of Sheboygan, who continues to use an alarm system after their permit has been revoked, or who fails to comply with any part of this article shall be subject to the penalty provided in section 30-33.

Permits are available through the City Clerk’s Office, located at City Hall, 828 Center Ave, Sheboygan.  The fee schedule for the initial business permit is $25.00 and $10.00 for each additional permit located at the same address.  The fee schedule for the initial residential permit is $10.00 and $10.00 for each additional permit located at the same address.  Permits are required on an annual basis and are valid from January 1st thru December 31st of each year.
