Shots Fired – 700 Block S 26th St

June 10, 2024 by Cal Stoffel

On 6/10/24 at approximately 3:35am officers where dispatched to a home in the 700 block of S 26th St reference a report of gunfire. Upon arrival officers located several spent shell casings in the roadway and observed two vehicles that had been damaged. When making contact at the home, it was determined that no one had been injured. Information regarding a possible suspect and vehicle information was obtained and relayed to other Sheboygan County agencies. The Sheboygan Falls Police Department located the suspect and vehicle a short time later pulling into his driveway. The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department responded to this location and a 31-year-old Sheboygan Falls resident was taken into custody without incident. Charges have been referred to the Sheboygan County District Attorney’s Office for review. This was an isolated incident between individuals who are known to one another and there is no ongoing risk to the community.  We would like to thank our partner agencies who helped to resolve this matter quickly.
