SHEBOYGAN, WI – The City of Sheboygan is updating its Strategic Plan and needs public input from the citizens of Sheboygan through an online survey instrument, Survey Monkey, available at
https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SheboyganSurvey
In anticipation of the Common Council’s review of the 2017 Executive Budget, it is appropriate for the Common Council to update its Strategic Plan. The goal of the Strategic Plan is to set priorities, focus energy and resources, strengthen operations, ensure that employees and other stakeholders are working toward common goals, establish agreement around intended outcomes/results, and assess and adjust the organization’s direction in response to the changing environment.
In order to obtain feedback from the citizens of Sheboygan, a community survey has been developed. The survey will provide critical information to the Common Council as they consider the update of the Strategic Plan.
The survey will be available for citizens to participate from July 7, 2017 – July 28, 2017.
Citizens with limited access to a computer can complete the survey at a dedicated terminal at Mead Public Library or Senior Activity Center. Citizens who are shut in and want to participate are encouraged to contact the Office of the City Administrator at (920) 459-3315 to obtain a paper copy of the survey.
Now is the time for citizens of the Sheboygan to be heard. For more information or questions related to assistance with translation services, please contact the Department of Planning and Development at (920) 459-3377.
