All 72 counties in Wisconsin have reported documented Human Trafficking. Wisconsin has one of the highest numbers of cases of human trafficking in the United States. Victims range from infant to elderly and they come from all backgrounds, races, and cultures. Human trafficking is referred to as the crime “in Plain Sight.” Sheboygan Police Department Detective Tamara Remington, Criminal Investigation Division, will discuss cases, trends, signs to look for and safety tips and prevention to keep our communities safer.
