TOPICS: Hand Signals / Traffic Sign & Intersection Awareness / Mounting & Dismounting
SKILLS COURSE: All children (who meet the below requirements) will be able to participate in the bicycle skills course which teaches them how to change directions, steer through tight spaces, weave and maneuver, watch for danger, properly apply the brakes, and many other skills in a safe and controlled environment. Each station is monitored by personnel who will assist by encouraging, educating, and helping each child become skilled bicyclists. With each newly learned skill, each child will be more prepared to safely ride their bicycle around their homes, in the community, and wherever they go! Parents are welcome to a free bicycle inspection, raffles, & to join in!
