On Tuesday morning, March 22nd, 2022, Officers were called to a church in the 1300 block of Washington Avenue for a report of suspicious circumstances. Upon arrival, Officers found two 2-gallon gas containers left at the scene and evidence that someone had started a fire in the kitchen. No one was injured though the kitchen sustained minor fire damage.
Further investigation led to the identification of a suspect. A 32-year old Sheboygan man was taken into custody for the incident and charges of Arson will be referred to the District Attorney’s Office.
