About the Criminal Investigations Division (CID)
The Criminal Investigation Division (CID) handles complex cases requiring specialized training, including evidence processing, interviews, cybercrime, and fugitive apprehension. CID investigates serious crimes such as homicide, robbery, sexual assault, fraud, and crimes against children. The Sheboygan Police Department also partners with the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force to locate and apprehend fugitives nationwide.
Multi-Jurisdictional Enforcement Group (MEG Unit)
The Sheboygan Police Department leads the Sheboygan County Multi-Jurisdictional Enforcement Group (MEG Unit), with personnel support from the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department, Plymouth Police Department, and other local agencies. The MEG Unit investigates narcotics trafficking throughout the county and often collaborates with state and federal partners. In addition to enforcement, MEG members provide community education on the impact of drug use.

Cybertipline.com:
This site allows you to report the sexual exploitation of children. Parents should talk to their children about internet safety. If a child encounters suspicious behavior or illegal content online, they should tell a parent immediately. Reports can be made online, by calling 1-800-843-5678, or by contacting local law enforcement.

VINElink is the online portal for VINE (Victim Information and Notification Everyday), the National Victim Notification Network. This service provides crime victims with timely and reliable updates on criminal cases and offender custody status, 24 hours a day. Victims and concerned individuals can register to receive notifications by phone, email, text message, or TTY device when an offender’s custody status changes.
