Administration
The Administrative Services Division is responsible for all training of department personnel, the hiring of all sworn and civilian personnel, policy development, accreditation, facility maintenance, and other special projects. This division also supervises the following support units: Crime Analyst, Communications and Electronics Technician, Fleet Operations Mechanic, and the Volunteers in Police Service Program. Chaplain Program
The Chaplain Program provides spiritual and emotional support to department members, their families, and the public. Our professionally trained chaplains offer comfort, guidance, and crisis support regardless of religious beliefs. They assist with ride-alongs, hospital visits, ceremonies, and trauma response, and currently include Pastor Michael Thomas, Father William Bulson, and Pastor Kristin Berglund.
Information Services
The Information Services Division manages the processing, transcription, and distribution of police reports, as well as various clerical tasks such as parking ticket processing and property data entry. The division also handles statistical reporting, including the Uniform Crime Report, and manages open records requests and criminal complaint entries. Records Specialists and transcriptionists ensure accurate and timely documentation to support both internal operations and external agency requirements. Property Office
The Property and Evidence Manager is responsible for the secure storage and custody of all property and evidence related to police incidents. As a certified Property and Evidence Specialist (IAPE), the manager also coordinates the processing of evidence through the Wisconsin State Crime Lab and ensures its availability for judicial proceedings.

VIPS (Volunteers in Police Service)
Volunteers in Police Service (VIPS) is a national program that supports law enforcement through community service. Volunteers assist with tasks such as fingerprinting, subpoena service, training support, and clerical work. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, at least 18 years old, and pass a background and fingerprint check; interviews are conducted for qualified candidates.
