Patrol

The Patrol Division is the largest and most visible part of the department. Officers in this division are responsible for responding to and investigating crimes, deterring criminal activity, building community relationships, solving neighborhood problems, and ensuring safe traffic flow throughout the city.

Each patrol officer is assigned to a specific neighborhood district to promote accountability, strengthen community connections, and support problem-solving efforts. Find your neighborhood’s primary officer here.

The Patrol Division also includes the Street Crimes Unit, Crash Reconstruction Unit, Emergency Response Team, K-9 Unit, and Honor Guard.
