SPD Investigates Shooting

On 1/26/18, at approximately 4:30 PM, Sheboygan Police responded to the 1200 block of S. 20th Street in Sheboygan for a report of an auto accident along with possible gunshots.  The ongoing investigation has revealed that the occupants of a vehicle were confronted while driving in the alley by another vehicle.  One occupant exited the second vehicle confronting the occupants of the first vehicle while firing several shots into the engine area of the car. The first vehicle struck another unrelated parked car and a tree attempting to flee the area. There were no injuries.  Police have identified a person of interest and are actively seeking him at this time.  He is identified as Julian M. Ramirez, age 18.  Ramirez is described as a male Hispanic, 5’06” weighing 120 pounds.  This incident is not a random act as the occupants of the vehicles are known to each other.  Anyone with any information about this incident or the current whereabouts of Julian Ramirez is asked to contact Sheboygan Police.

Manuel A Amador (24)

Update 1/26/18:  Sheboygan Police have now developed a second person of interest in connection with this investigation.  Police are also actively seeking Manuel A. Amador, age 24.  Amador is described as a male Hispanic, 5’6″ weighing 188 pounds.  He has black hair and brown eyes.  He may be operating a 2004 Brown GM Yukon SUV, with Wisconsin registration MX1336.  Police are asking anyone with any information about this case or the whereabouts of Manuel Amador to call Sheboygan Police at 920-459-3333
