On 7/7/24 at approximately 1:54am, the Sheboygan Police Department and Sheboygan Fire Department were dispatched to the area of N 10th St and Michigan Ave for an individual suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim, a 27 year old Sheboygan male, was transported to a Milwaukee area hospital for treatment of what is believed to be non-life threatening injuries. An investigation revealed that this was a disturbance between family members, and the suspect and victim are known to each other.
Sheboygan Police are actively looking for the suspect, Jalen M Ringel, a 32 year old black male. Jalen is 6’01 and approximately 200 pounds. A recent booking photo of Jalen is below. Jalen is believed to be in possession of a handgun. If you see Jalen, or know where he is, please contact the Sheboygan Police Department immediately at (920) 459-3334.
