The parade will start at N. 8 Street and Center Avenue. The parade will proceed north to Michigan Avenue, then east on Michigan Avenue to Broughton Drive, and then south on Broughton Drive to Ontario Avenue and Deland Park.

The following roads will then be closed to traffic with parking prohibited for the parade assembly area starting at 7:00 AM:

  • N. 7 Street from Pennsylvania Avenue north to Niagara Avenue
  • the 600 blocks of Wisconsin Avenue
  • 600-700 blocks of New York Avenue

  • the 500 block of N. 8 Street.

Parking on the parade route will also be prohibited starting at 7:00 AM.  Vehicles parked on the route will be ticketed and towed.

Reserving a spot for the Independence Day Parade:
-We would like to remind the community that the policy of the City of Sheboygan is that you may bring tarps and chairs to hold a spot between the sidewalk and street along the parade route after 5:00 AM on July 4, 2015. Any items placed out prior to that time will be considered abandoned property and may be removed. This is to help minimize the amount of over-night vandalism and help to prevent conflicts over those spots.
