Sheboygan Police

Update to Police Desk Hours

To better serve the citizens of Sheboygan and support the efficiency of our Police Department staff, we are updating our front desk hours effective Monday, August 18, 2025.

New Police Desk Hours:
Monday–Friday: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM

These revised hours reflect public usage patterns and will provide a more targeted, effective service during peak demand times. The updated schedule ensures citizens can still access services both before and after standard work hours.

Benefits of the Change:

  • Two clerks available during peak hours (10 AM–3 PM) to assist with licensing, payments, and requests for police service
  • Improved phone response rates and shorter wait times
  • Enhanced staff availability and well-being

This change in hours for the customer service desk does not affect the normal day-to-day operations of the department. If you have questions or need assistance outside the new desk hours, please contact the Sheboygan Police Department on the non-emergency line, 920-459-3333 and press option 1. If you have an emergency, please dial 911.

There are also drop boxes in the Police Department vestibule for payments and they will be applied on the next business day. Citizens also have the option of paying parking tickets online.

We appreciate your understanding and continued support as we make this transition to better serve our community.
